September 19, 2008: Highway 99 bridge over Salmon Creek OPENS! The Salmon Creek Watershed Council is pleased the project included improvements to 650 feet of stream under the bridge and widening the channel by 10 feet. With the addition of boulders across the creek, a series of pools are created making easier passage for salmon. This is one step in attempts to recover salmon runs of the past.
